UTS is proud to welcome a new tennis star to the field for UTS Guadalajara, set to be the first stage of the 2026 season.

Alejandro Tabilo, from Chile and currently ranked ATP No. 81, was once a Top 20 player following his famous win over Novak Djokovic in Rome.

At 28 years old, the left-handed player will make his UTS debut, joining Alejandro Davidovich Fokina from Spain and Reilly Opelka from the USA. Fabio Cobolli from Italy, the fourth confirmed player, has already competed in UTS Guadalajara 2025.

Four more players will be announced soon for the event, which will take place at the Centro Panamericano de Tenis in Guadalajara, Mexico, from February 5 to 7.

Tabilo has made a name for himself by winning three ATP titles in 20 months – Auckland (2024), Mallorca (2024), and Chengdu (2025). He also reached the semifinals of the Rome Masters 1000 in 2024, showcasing the talent and versatility of a dangerous all-surface player.
