STYLE AND PERSONALITY:
It’s difficult to know what’s quicker – Mannarino’s speed of thought or his speed of movement. A supreme counterpuncher, the Frenchman will turn his opponent’s strengths to his own advantage – and he’s not afraid of taking an attacking risk or two either. He’s set to bring a new form of excitement to UTS!
CAREER:
This left-hander is in many ways a late bloomer – winning his first ATP Tour title in 2019 having already turned 30, and achieving his career-high ranking at the age of 35. He’s been enjoying some of the finest form of his life, racking up 43 wins in 2023 including titles in Newport, Astana and Sofia. Bringing charisma and commitment, Mannarino is a serious threat for any player on grass and hard courts.
