Possessing a well-rounded, aggressive game, Rune is often compared to Novak Djokovic because he has all the tools to be a great player. The Dane has a rock-solid backhand and a bold game style. He’s never afraid of the biggest moments in matches, not shy about getting to the net, and has the power to take the play to his opponents. He’s also a fiery personality that loves to bring the crowd into his matches, making him an electric, cant-miss talent.

Career

Ever since he broke into the Top 100 in January of 2022 as an 18-year-old, Rune has been a rising force on the ATP Tour. His signature moment on tour came in 2022 in Paris, when he defeated five top 10 players in succession, including Novak Djokovic in the final, to claim his maiden Masters 1000 title. Rune is a four-time titlist on the ATP Tour, and a three-time Grand Slam quarter-finalist.
