Shapo to replace King Kyrgios at UTS Frankfurt
Denis ‘Shapo’ Shapovalov is set to replace Nick Kyrgios at the upcoming leg of 2024’s UTS Tour in Frankfurt.
King Kyrgios had been scheduled to play in the third instalment of this season’s UTS Tour, which takes place in Frankfurt between October 18 – 20, but isn’t yet ready to compete as he continues to recover from his long-term wrist injury.
Luckily, Shapovalov is ready to step in to replace the big-hitting Australian with his own brand of powerful panache in the hope of disrupting the UTS field.
It is all to play for at UTS Frankfurt, with La Monf returning to defend his crown from New York, which he won in stunning style over Bublik Enemy to clinch his maiden UTS title.
Tickets for UTS Frankfurt are currently sale and can be purchased here.
