“I believe I can reach the top” — Draper, aiming at Sinner and Alcaraz
World No 10 Jack Draper – who will be back at competition at the UTS Grand Final in London, December 5-7th (tickets availabe here): – told, in an interview co-conducted by UTS and Tennis Majors, that he wants to rise, disrupt the hierarchy, and challenge the two leaders of his generation. And UTS is where that mission restarts.
Jack Draper has a clear mindset heading into UTS London Grand Final no ceiling. “I want to be among the best and keep improving. With hard work, my team and staying injury free, I believe I can reach the top” said the current World No 10, previously No 4.
The objectives? Sharp, ambitious, and absolutely on brand for a player who refuses to settle.
“I’d like to go beyond semifinals, be top-four in Grand Slams, break into the top ten… and make deeper runs at the big events,” he told.
And Draper knows exactly who he needs to target to get there: Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, the two players setting the pace for the new generation.
“Yes, Alcaraz and Sinner are way ahead… but it’s up to the newer players to challenge and end their dominance.” Draper tops the list of the contenders.
