What is the UTS concept?

The innovative, groundbreaking format will be played out over three days. The eight players will compete in two round-robin groups, with the top two in each group moving through to the semi-finals.

When and where is Bastide UTS Nimes ?

The first UTS event of 2026 will be played across two days, from Friday 4th April to Saturday 5th April.

Competition days and times

– Friday : 12pm – 5:30 pm (4 games – quarter finals)

– Saturday : 12pm – 5:30 pm (5 games – Final 4)

UTS Nîmes will be held at ‘Les arènes de Nîmes’ with a 13 000-capacity stadium.

How many matches will each player contest? 

This format ensures that all players will feature in a minimum of 2 matches (quarter final and and semi final or classification match) and in a maximum of 3 matches (quarter final, semi final and final).

What is the prize money?

Total prize money of USD 1,000 million will be on offer, with a maximum of USD 301k for the winner.
