STYLE AND PERSONALITY
Think the one-handed backhand is out of fashion? Think again. Lorenzo Musetti is one of its leading proponents – plus he loves to make all kinds of spectacular shots. Fans love to watch him on the ATP Tour and they’ll be filling the UTS stands to cheer on his exciting mix of fun and artistry.
CAREER
The best junior in the world in 2019, Musetti brought himself to the world’s attention in Rome in 2020, beating three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka in straight sets to become the first player born in 2002 to win an ATP match. Champion in Hamburg and Naples in 2022 – since which he has never been out of the Top 30 – he has qualified for three ATP NextGen Finals in a row.
