Nick “King” Kyrgios returns to UTS in Hong Kong

Nick Kyrgios is back in UTS action when the 2025 UTS Tour rolls around to Hong Kong.

The Australian – who reached the semi-finals in UTS New York last year – will be part of the roster for the event that runs from 14 to 15 October.

“I’m super excited about being part of UTS Hong Kong,” says Kyrgios.

“UTS is such a blast to play in. It’s pretty wild for us and for the fans and I love it.

“I’m also really proud of my Malaysian heritage and I’ve always loved playing in Asia so be able to play UTS in a great city like Hong Kong is going to be really, really special.”

He joins a field that includes Andrey Rublev, Zhang Zhizhen and Alex de Minaur, with further tennis superstars to be announced.

UTS, created by tennis supercoach and entrepreneur Patrick Mouratoglou, is partnering with the Hong Kong, China Tennis Association (HKCTA) to bring some of the world’s top male players to compete in UTS Hong Kong on 14 and 15 October for a prize money pot of US$1.1 million, with the winner taking home at least US$306,000.

As well as two days of UTS matches, the players will also take part in the UTS Hong Kong Tennis Clinics on Monday 13 October, where children of all ages will have the chance to get on court and give tennis a try before watching players showcase their incredible skills with intensive competitive drills in the unique UTS All Star Game.
