The Power behind Jack Draper’s UTS success
Jack “The Power” Draper lifted the UTS Grand Final lightning-bolt trophy in London thanks to some impressive stats backing him up.
Draper was the best returner in UTS throughout 2023, winning 56.20 per cent of return points, compared to a tour average of 48.58 per cent.
And he was strong on serve too – winning 62 per cent of his points.
Plus of course he won all five of his UTS matches in London, giving him a 100 per cent record in the format.
The Power has taken that superb form into 2024 – reaching the final in Adelaide, knocking out top seed Tommy Paul in the quarter-final and Alexander “The Bublik Enemy” Bublik in the semi.
And now he faces Paul again in Melbourne on Thursday for a place in the third round of the Australian Open.
