Here we go! UTS Tour will come to Mexico February 13th. – 16th as a part of the 2025 UTS Tour. The innovative, fast-paced tennis league, founded by Patrick Mouratoglou, will make a stop south of the border at the main court of the Centro Panamericano de Tenis in Guadalajara. It will be the first of four tournaments in the 2025 UTS Tour and the first UTS event ever played in Latin America.

Eight world class players will be split into two groups and the top two in each group move on to the semifinals.

As of now, confirmed players are Australian Nick Kyrgios, “King Kyrgios” a Wimbledon, finalist whose charisma makes him a huge favourite with UTS fans.

Also in attendance will be Norwegian Casper Ruud, “The Ice Man” a three-time runner-up in Grand Slams. Canadian Denis Shapovalov, “Shapo” a Wimbledon semifinalist and who has cracked the top-10 in the world’s rankings.

The rising young star of Italian tennis, Flavio Cobolli, “Il Gladiatore” will join the all-star field. The rest of the players will be announced in the next few weeks.

The players will compete for a 1.4 million US dollars purse in prize money. The winner of the UTS in Guadalajara will take home 420 thousand dollars.

“We are delighted to open the UTS Tour 2025 in Latin America and to bring some of the world’s most enchanting men’s tennis players to Guadalajara. I have always been impressed by the incredible atmosphere that Mexican fans create at their local tournaments, and I can’t wait to see them cheer on their favorite players during UTS, where we eliminate the “quiet please” rule and let the fans express their emotions even during points, like in soccer stadiums,” said UTS chairman Patrick Mouratoglou.

The tickets for the tournament will go on sale next September 13 on the boletemovil.com platform.
