Injured since the 2025 US Open, Jack Draper is preparing to make his return to competition in front of his home crowd at the UTS London Grand Final, taking place from 5-7 December at the Copper Box Arena. The 23-year-old British No.1 and World No.7 has received a wildcard for the season-ending event.

His appearance in London is particularly anticipated: he won the event on his only previous outing in 2023, a victory that propelled him to his first ATP Tour titles, a US Open semi-final, and a rise into the Top 10, reaching a career-high ranking of No.4 after strong showings at Indian Wells, Madrid, and Doha.

“I have such great memories of winning UTS in front of my home crowd a couple of years ago.” said Jack Draper in a statement. “I think the format really suits my game and it’s so much fun to play. I’m looking forward to getting back out there and competing.”

So far only two players have qualified for London by winning UTS events: triple Grand Slam finalist Casper Ruud, winner of Bastide Médical UTS Nîmes in April, and Tomas Machac, the rising Czech star who won UTS Guadalajara in February.

One more place will be awarded by direct qualification (to the Hong Kong tournament’s champion), three further players will be given based on UTS ranking and one more wildcard will be awarded.
