The Hotshot beats The Power in Olympic clash – and sets up another
Taylor “The Hotshot” Fritz defeated Jack “The Power” Draper in the second round of the Olympic Games – coming back from a set down to win 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-2 in Paris.
Draper could have extended his first-set lead, but failed to take any of the six break points he had in the third game of the second set.
The two have not met in UTS action, with Draper winning the 2023 Grand Final, and Fritz featuring in last year’s LA final as well as competing in UTS3 and UTS4.
Fritz will next play Lorenzo Musetti, “The Illusionist”, who makes his UTS debut in Frankfurt later this year.
