Fritz, Rune sign up for Bastide Médical UTS Nîmes
Taylor Fritz and Holger Rune will be back on UTS Tour on 2025 after they signed up for the Bastide Médical UTS Nîmes in April.
Fritz – The Hotshot – is coming off a career-best year which saw him reach his first Grand Slam final, at the US Open, finish runner-up on his debut at the ATP Finals and end the year ranked a career-high No 4.
Rune – The Viking – was runner-up in the UTS Grand Final in 2023 and has been a regular fixture in the innovative, fast-paced competition since it began in 2020.
Fritz and Rune join Gael “La Monf” Monfils, Andrey “Rublo” Rublev, Casper “The Iceman” Ruud and Ugo “The Commander” Humbert in the field for Bastide Médical UTS Nîmes, which will be played on clay at the iconic Arènes de Nîmes on April 4 and 5, 2025, heralding the start of the European clay-court season. The final two players will be named before the end of the year. The 8 players will compete for a total prize money of 1,000,000 USD, including 300,000 USD for the winner.
