The Bublik Enemy triumphs in Halle

The Bublik Enemy won the second ATP Tour title of his career by defeating fellow UTS rival Andrey ‘Rublo’ Rublev.

In the biggest title win of his career, Bublik defeated Rublev 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the final of the Halle Open, overcoming a mid-set wobble to come through in three sets.

The mercurial Kazakh showed he has more up his sleeve than just trick shots as he held his nerve to clinch the title, displaying discipline and an array of clean shot-making that ultimately proved too much for his Russian opponent.

The final gave a glimpse of what could be in store this July when the Kazakh will compete at the UTS showdown in Los Angeles. Bublik made his debut at UTS4 and will return again this summer alongside a stellar line-up of talent, while Rublev is set to compete at the UTS event in Frankfurt.

This year’s LA field also includes Taylor ‘The Hotshot’ Fritz, La Monf, King Kyrgios and Big Foe, as well as a host of other big names.

The title in Halle will be perfect preparation for The Bublik Enemy, who will thrive off what is sure to be a raucous atmosphere in Los Angeles this July. A natural showman, Bublik is a perfect fit for UTS, which is as much about entertaining the crowd as it is about tennis.

Trick shots, unexpected antics and some breathtaking tennis will be sure to be served up by both Rublo and The Bublik Enemy in the cauldron that is the UTS.
