The Illusionist to make debut at UTS Frankfurt, joins Demon and Thunder
Lorenzo “The Illusionist” Musetti will make his UTS debut in Frankfurt this October – joining Alex “The Demon” de Minaur and Jan-Lennard “The Thunder” Struff in the field.
The trio join the previously-announced Dominic Thiem, Frances Tiafoe and Frenchman Gael Monfils in the eight-man competition, which will be held in the 5,000-seat Suwag Energie Arena from October 17-20, 2024.
Musetti – who makes his first UTS appearance – is one of the most brilliant young talents on the ATP tour, and his delightful mix of elegance and spectacle will certainly fit the exciting UTS format.
De Minaur, who sits second in the UTS Race Ranking, has one UTS title and one runner-up spot to his name thus far, having won in Antwerp in 2021, and reaching the final against Andrey Rublev in Oslo earlier this year.
Struff makes his UTS return to Frankfurt, having made his debut in the format there last year. Fans will know how much he loves playing at home – finally winning his first-ever ATP title on home soil in Munich this year.
