The first UTS Tour event of 2024 is over – but there are more to come as our stars battle to secure their place in the Grand Final!
There are two more Tour events ahead of December’s season finale – in North America (19-21 August) and then in Europe (18-20 October).
Andrey “Rublo” Rublev has already qualified due to his exploits in UTS Oslo, beating Alex “The Demon” de Minaur in the final.
De Minaur is currently second in the UTS race ranking, with Oslo semi-finalists Alexander “The Bublik Enemy” Bublik third and Casper “The Ice Man” Ruud fourth.
But there are only six points between Bublik and Benoit “The Rebel” Paire, who is currently two spots outside the automatic race ranking qualification spots. The Frenchman finished third in Group B in Oslo, winning one match and finishing the weekend with a quarter average of -3.
Dominic “Thieminho” Thiem, Lucas “The French Flair” Pouille, and “The Junior” Nicolai Budkov Kjaer are all currently on four points – with La Monf, Gael Monfils, at the bottom of the leaderboard with a single point following his disqualification.
That means there is all to play for during the upcoming events.
