Two all-UTS encounters will take place across two different continents this week as both Dubai and Acapulco have thrown up meetings between four UTS rivals.

In Mexico, Casper “The Iceman” Ruud and Ben “The Mountain” Shelton will face off in the quarter-finals of the Acapulco Open, just hourse before Andrey “Rublo” Rublev will meet his old UTS rival Alexander “The Bublik Enemy” Bublik in the semi-finals of the Dubai Open.

In a UTS-heavy field in Mexico, Jack “The Power” Draper, Holger “The Viking” Rune and Alex “The Demon” De Minaur have all made it through to the last eight.

In the first leg of 2024’s UTS Tour, Rublo defeated Alex “The Demon” de Minaur 14-16, 17-10, 16-13, 20-12 in the final to add the UTS Oslo title to the one he won in Frankfurt last year.

Rublo faced Bublik en route to that final, and is set for a rematch of their encounter when they meet again in Dubai for another last-four meeting.

This time around, The Bublik Enemy will be seeking revenge as the pair go head-to-head in yet another UTS rivalry to spill over onto the regular tour.
